- Soy Sauce or Tamari for Gluten Free option
- Ground Black Pepper (add as much as needed)
- Cooking Oil of choice Canola oil works too a small mixing bowl, combine Honey, Garlic cloves (minced), Soy Sauce and Ground Black Pepper. Mix Honey Garlic Sauce together until well incorporated. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat or cast-iron skillet over high heat for about one minute. Make sure the cooking oil is hot before adding pork chops to it! Cook Chops on each side of the cutlets for two minutes on high flame OR five minutes if the stove is set at medium heat with the lid covered between flips. During that time, brush sauce onto cooked sides of Chops and flip them carefully, making sure there’s enough space inside your pan/skillet, so they don’t touch each other while cooking. When both sides of Chops are cooked, add sauce onto them and cover with a lid so the pork chops can absorb all that deliciousness!
Let sit for a minute while you finish mixing Sauce. Plate your Honey Garlic Chops and drizzle extra Honey Garlic Sauce over the top if desired. Enjoy!
The preparation time is about 15 minutes or less, depending on how fast you chop veggies. The cooking time takes roughly 30 minutes, but it’s worth it when you taste this succulent dish in your mouth; everyone will be begging around to get some Honey Chops from YOU!
Chop Ingredients: - Four (or five) Boneless Skinless Thin Cutlets
- Honey Garlic Sauce:
- ½ cup of Honey (preferably local Honey)
- ¼ cup Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil
- Four cloves of garlic, crushed and minced finely. A garlic press works best for this task if you do not want to get your hands smelly after mincing the garlic. If using a knife, make sure it is sharp enough so that chopping up the peeled clove into tiny bits won’t be difficult; we don’t want wasted time!
Add Honey and Salt together in a bowl and mix until thoroughly blended. Then add olive Oil slowly while constantly stirring with a fork or spoon. Make sure Honey Garlic sauce has mixed thoroughly before adding more ingredients such as chopped green onions etc.
