Seeing Through A Glass Cup

Seeing Through A Glass Cup

Whether it be your morning wake up beverage, an afternoon tea, a welcoming drink for guests or simply something that you consume in passing, your hot beverages need to be in something. There are so many cups and mugs out there and many people do get different flavors from different shaped and sized drinks holders. It’s a strange thing but it can really matter. There’s also an aesthetic to think about too. We like how things look in our houses. Every element matters, from furnishings to dishes. We often want to serve others and ourselves in the best ways possible. Small glass coffee cups are a fantastic way of doing so too.

What is the difference between cups and mugs? They are both drink-ware, yes, however, a cup is smaller than a mug, it’s material may be thinner also. Often, mugs make you think of warmth and quantity. Winter is when the mugs come out. They have pretty pictures on them, whimsical ones even, and they should need two hands to hold. Cups, on the other hand, draw out our more aesthetic nature. A cup is a pretty thing. It can give a beverage a lovely taste, holding the exact right amount of liquid. It can be very presentable to guests and allow you to hold it with one hand whilst using the other actively. Why glass? You are seeing the liquid, its deliciously appealing color that reminds you that it is time to wake up. You are also seeing if it is made correctly. Some of us can be so particular about how we like our coffee and a slight variation in color can, surprisingly, make a big difference. The smaller the cup often means the stronger the coffee. There’s nothing more perfect for an espresso than small glass coffee cups.

For guests, such cups can be so very presentable. Our eye falls on them and lingers. We can see the cup and the drink and how they meld together. You will often see them used in hotels, cafes and fine dining restaurants. In the home, it need be no different. If you want to entertain your guests with a delightful beverage and a visual treat whilst doing so then why not get a set. There are many shops that stock them, in all different sizes, with different shapes and cuts to suit an individual’s own sense of style. They can be casual and proper or they can be elegant and unique. There is no one and only with anything. It takes a person who cares to choose what they care most about and to some degree we all care about the little things that go into our everyday.
